About the Club

The Civil Services Club at IIT Mandi was established with the vision of creating a platform for students interested in governance, public administration, policy-making, and competitive examinations such as UPSC, IES, CDS, and other civil services.

The club aims to encourage informed discussions, analytical thinking, leadership, and awareness about national and global issues among students. As a newly formed club, our primary objective this year was to build a strong foundation and create an active community of students interested in public service and nation-building.

The club also serves as a space where students from different academic backgrounds can interact, learn together, and develop a broader understanding of society, governance, and current affairs beyond technical education, through engaging activities, insightful discussions, and comprehensive resources. Our mission is to nurture technocrats for public governance, empowering them to make a positive impact on society.
